The part number for item 95 "Motor Control Board" in the parts list changes depending on which revision of manual you have and the publish date leading us to believe that his part superceded 8111879.

This module is mounted on the bell cover, it reads the RPM of the generator shaft and will disconnect the starter at about 660 RPM and if the generator goes overspeed it will shutdown around 2190RPM (or for 50HZ operation 1830RPM).

They were used in the 950, 1025, 1050, 1055 and 6401 and possibly also in the 1000 and 1000D
