Are the digits on your board dim or out? We can replace all of the LEDs and make it as bright as new. We can also repair the circuitry for dead boards or boards that have problems driving the motor.

There is still a lot of older industrial gear in operation that uses CRT monitors. Heidenhain is a prime example. When the CRTs get old and dim the owner has a choice to make. There are LCD replacement kits available but the drawback is that LCDs tend to last about 5 years, which isn't very long in the industrial world. For about the same price as the LCD kit we can put a new CRT tube into your unit and refurbish the circuit board. Yes, we can still get brand new CRTs for most of the common configurations, we'll reuse the old yoke and circuit board and align the new unit just like new.

We were told that this one was for a 2400 series, it arrived with IC's missing so we had to do some reverse engineering to figure out what they were supposed to be. We got it running in the end and as a bonus we drew a fairly complete schematic. We'd be happy to repair some more of these.

Our research indicates that these were used in a number of machines from about 2005, they replaced the smaller boards that had the black Crydom modules on them. The part number for item 95 "Motor Control Board" in the parts list changes depending on which revision of manual you have and the publish date leading us to believe that his part superceded 8111879.

The processor and power supply are together in the first module for this model and that makes for an expensive replacement if only the power supply stops working. We can repair the power supply section saving you $$. Our repairs come with a one year warranty.

This module is mounted on the bell cover, it reads the RPM of the generator shaft and will disconnect the starter at about 660 RPM and if the generator goes overspeed it will shutdown around 2190RPM (or for 50HZ operation 1830RPM).
